Congratulations - You have finished the Bible study of the Prophets, which completes the overview of the Old Testament.
Take sometime and answer the following questions before we jump into our next study, which will be Paul's Epistles.
We would like to make this course better for the next student. Please suggest improvements, be specific.
1. Did you learn anything new about the Bible or the subject of theology during the study of the prophets? If so list some of the important things you learned.
2. What did you like and what did you dislike about your study thus far?
3. Did we leave any important aspect of God's Word out in these study of the Prophets? If so what?
4. What changes or improvements to the course would you suggest?
5. Tell me a little more about yourself, your calling, your ministry goals, recent happenings, etc?
6. Meditate on the flow of the Bible from Genesis to Malachi. Did God show you any new things about this being one message about Jesus and Him crucified? If so share some of this new understanding.
6. Meditate on God's revelation of the message of the Prophets and pick out one event, story, and/or situation and relate to a counseling situation.
7. Meditate upon the books of Genesis through Malachi. Think about all the key stories that God's Word tells us and then meditate upon these words/phrases in relationship to each story (freedom granted to man, foreknowledge of God, fore-ordination by God, fellowship with God (terms), faithfulness or failure by man & God, and forgiveness by God) - pick out one story from the prophets and relate it to me in a few sentences.
Again, you did an excellent work on all of your studies. May God not only keep you excited about learning His Word, but also give you more opportunities to share it.
Your next study is the study of Paul's Epistles. I will forward the first lesson of Paul's Epistles after I receive your feedback from the Prophets Study.
