Bible Study Prophets Lesson 2 Questions


1.What is the theme of Hosea? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

2.What is the theme of Joel? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

3.What is the theme of Amos? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

4.What is the theme of Obadiah? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

5.What is the theme of Jonah? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

6.What is the theme of Micah? Who was the author? When was it written? To whom (Israel, Judah or both) was it addressed?

7.List each of the above six prophets and then list the kings of both Judah and Israel at that time.

8.Research the references that Christ made about Jonah. List them and give a comment on each.

9.List the major prophets that lived during the time-frame of each of these six minor prophets.

10.What would you consider to be a common outline of most of these six books and a common theme or themes?
