Syllabus for the Study of Genesis
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the Bible study of Genesis you should understand why Genesis (the book of beginnings) is the foundation of the Pentateuch, Old Testament and the entire Bible.
During this Bible study of Genesis your faith in God and His word should have been strengthened since the Bible states “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
During this Bible study of Genesis your will be exposed to many of the key Christian doctrines and the basic tools of Biblical interpretation and presentation. Each student should become a more thoughtful interpreter of the Bible as they meditate upon God’s Holy Word.
Bottom line for the Genesis Bible study course is that the student should increase their knowledge of Genesis and develop a stronger Biblical Worldview.

Genesis Lesson 3 - Wickedness of Man
Genesis Lesson 4 - Second Chance
Genesis Lesson 5 - Call of Abraham
Genesis Lesson 6 - Promise to Abraham
Genesis Lesson 7 - Lot & Melchizedek
Genesis Lesson 8 - Test of Abraham
Genesis Lesson 9 - Two Sets of Brothers
Genesis Lesson 10 - Joseph & Judah
Each Bible study lesson of the Four Soils Ministry Bible School's study of Genesis contains ten questions, with most questions requiring a written response of 250 words or less. If a person is familiar with the book of Genesis, most lessons can be completed in a few hours. Students should set a goal of at least one lesson per week, however this is not mandatory.
Each student can proceed at their own desired rate of speed.
Course Procedures:
(1) Each Bible study Lesson will be sent by email to the student. Students can ask questions by the Internet.
(2) Each Bible study Lesson when completed will be returned to Four Soils Ministry by the Internet for grading.
(3) The Bible study Lesson will be graded pass or fail, comments will be sent back to the student.
(4) The next Bible study Lesson in Genesis will be sent to the student after a passing grade is obtained on the previous Lesson. In the case of a student not passing an assignment, the student will be notified and given suggestions on how to obtain a passing grade. The student cannot receive the next Lesson in Genesis until a passing grade is achieved.
