Four Soils Ministry's Purpose Statement
Four Soils Ministry was founded for the purpose of providing a solid Biblical foundation for those called into ministry of sowing the Gospel Seed. It was established specifically for the person who has felt the call of God into the preaching, Bible teaching, Christian counseling, or Discipleship area and would like a better understanding of God's Word.
Four Soils Ministry believes that there are a large number of people who feel the call of God on their lives, but feel very inadequate for the task. This is good, because we must relay on Christ to be effective, yet we need to have practical resources in order to carry out the task. It has been the experience of the founder that many valuable servants of God do not have the time, access, or money to receive a Bible College or Seminary degree.
Therefore, the goal of Four Soils Ministry is to provide the tools a person needs to be a productive worker in God's harvest at no cost to the student. Four Soils Ministry's free online Internet Bible Study course leads to a certificate in Preaching, Counseling, Discipleship, or Bible Teaching.
It is absolutely free. No course cost. No textbook cost. No registration fee or prerequisites. All that is required is the call to the great commission of "go make disciples of Christ and teaching them to obey His commandments."
Don?t be fooled because there is no cost, thinking that the course will not be worth the effort. The founder of Four Soils Ministry has worked for a major traditional class room seminary, has been trained by "Walk Thru the Bible" organization, has a Doctor of Ministry in Theology degree, and has taken many preaching courses from people such as the late Dr. Steven Olford.
This free online Internet Bible Course will expose the student to the equivalent Bible and theology instruction of most Bible Colleges and Seminaries. I use the word expose, because we direct the student through a series of courses, lessons and questions that will place in front of the student all the major doctrines of the Bible and expose them to the thinking of all the major schools of theology.
An instructor is assigned to each student and is available for questions and encouragement by way of the Internet. Each lesson is kept to ten questions to encourage quick turnaround and frequent involvement between the instructor and student. The courses and lessons are covered in sequence leading the student through the total revelation of God in a progressive manner.
The certificate program covers twelve courses, with ten lessons each, and with each lesson covering ten questions. All needed resources are available free of charge over the Internet. Once a student has finished this free online Internet Bible Study course they will be well grounded not only God?s Word, but have the discernment to teach, proclaim, disciple and counsel others.
Four Soils Ministry's number one passion is the proclaiming of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
Four Soils Ministry's method of instruction is a sequential approach (similar to walk thru the Bible), but includes more traditional study techniques that are used in class room instruction and it uses repetition with each lesson building our understanding in a logical manner.
