HOMILETICS – 1
The major purpose of “Four Soils Ministry” is to provide training recourses and encouragement to those who are called into a ministry for Christ. Our first priority is to encourage our students to develop a solid Biblical understanding and application in their own lives. Second priority is to learn how to tap the power of the internet to research and use all available tools and techniques they can find to grown in their specific ministry calling.
We are including some links to websites that provide these valuable tools and resources.
As we have mentioned some of our lessons in the Genesis Study, a preacher and Bible teacher must understand and practice the basics of Homiletics to be an effective communicator of God’s word. There are a number of free resources available to grow our understanding and application of Homiletics. One of these is from “Revival in the Home Ministries”. In doing so we are not focusing on denominational doctrine, since our school is non-denominational, but a specific paper on Homiletics Prepared by Dr. Edward Watke Jr.
