Christ Centered Theology

Jesus and Him Crucified!d The theology of Four Soils Ministry's Bible School is centered on the central doctrine of the Bible, which is "Jesus and Him crucified". We believe that the Bible is one story and that is about mystery/plan of God.

All of our Bible study courses and lessons are centered in Christ Jesus and are constructed upon the theory that God reveals Himself in a progressive way starting in Genesis and completing in Revelation, building Biblical precept upon precept.

We are influenced by our prior learning, therefore we read Scripture with preconceived bias. We have been influence by one or more of the schools of theology below. Our Bible Study curriculum introduces these schools of theology early in our study so that you might understand this tendency and have a more open mind to a new work of the Holy Spirit.

Biblical Theology

Biblical Theology is a discipline within Christian theology, which studies the Bible from the perspective of understanding the progressive history of God revealing himself to Man following the Fall and throughout the Old Testament and New Testament. It particularly focuses on the epochs of the Old Testament in order to understand how each part of it ultimately points forward to fulfillment in the life mission of Jesus Christ. (Wikipedia)

Systematic Theology

Systematic theology is the attempt to formulate a coherent philosophy, which is applicable to the component parts of a given faith's system of belief. Inherent to a system of theological thought is that a method is developed, one which can be applied both broadly and particularly. While a systematic theology must take into account the sacred texts of its faith, it also looks to history, philosophy, science, and ethics to produce as full a view and as versatile a philosophical approach as possible.
